3/9: Carson Finishes 2nd in Atlantic City
Junior Glen Carson came up just short in his bid for a state title. Brearley's Jesse Boyden used a late 1st period takedown to help him to a 3-1 win over Carson in the 215-pound final of the NJSIAA Tournament. The finals appearance was the 2nd in a row for Carson.

3/1: Carson Wins 2nd Region Title
Glen Carson buzzsawed his way through the 215-pound weight class to take home his 2nd Region Title and 30th overall for Southern Regional. With the win, Carson improved to 36-1 and will receive a 1st Round bye at the NJSIAA Tournament at Baordwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Joining Carson in AC will be teammates Nick Maugeri (2nd Place at 135), Brian Broderick (2nd at 152), and Jason Walters (3rd Place at 130).

2/26: Southern Advances 3 Through Prelims
Frank Miele, Manny Jorge, and Aaron Williams all recorded preliminary round victories on Tuesday night sending them into Friday night's quarterfinals of the Region 6 Tournament. They join teammates Jason Walters, Nick Maugeri, Brian Broderick, and Glen Carson, who received opening round byes.

Junior Glen Carson won his 3rd Championship and helped lead Southern Regional to their 7th straight Team Title at Saturday's District 24 Tournament.
Carson, who was voted Most Outstanding Wrestler, was one of four Rams to win championships and one of nine total Southern medal winners that will now move on to the Region 6 Tournament.

Carson went 6-0 on the weekend with 3 pins, and established himself as the early favorite for the NJ State Title at 215 with convincing victories over Jesse Boyden of Brearley and Lukasz Stala of Don Bosco Prep on the way to winning his championship.

3/9: Carson Finishes 2nd in Atlantic City
Junior Glen Carson came up just short in his bid for a state title. Brearley's Jesse Boyden used a late 1st period takedown to help him to a 3-1 win over Carson in the 215-pound final of the NJSIAA Tournament. The finals appearance was the 2nd in a row for Carson.

Glen Carson buzzsawed his way through the 215-pound weight class to take home his 2nd Region Title and 30th overall for Southern Regional. With the win, Carson improved to 36-1 and will receive a 1st Round bye at the NJSIAA Tournament at Baordwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Joining Carson in AC will be teammates Nick Maugeri (2nd Place at 135), Brian Broderick (2nd at 152), and Jason Walters (3rd Place at 130).

Junior Glen Carson won his 3rd Championship and helped lead Southern Regional to their 7th straight Team Title at Saturday's District 24 Tournament.
Carson, who was voted Most Outstanding Wrestler, was one of four Rams to win championships and one of nine total Southern medal winners that will now move on to the Region 6 Tournament.
